Growing up as a child Al was not afforded the opportunity to attend basketball clinics and camps. He relied heavily on school coaches to aid him in learning the fundamentals of the game. Knowing the importance of getting the right instruction, Al has committed himself to providing youth with the chance to participate in his yearly basketball camps. Al has focused his efforts in Georgia, Michigan, Florida and the Dominican Republic. He looks forward to expanding on the success on his annual camps during the summer.
Horford Hoopstars Basketball Camp – Summer 2013
Session 1: June 15-16, 2013 at Grand Ledge High School, 820 Spring Street, Grand Ledge, MI 48837
Session 2: June 22-23, 2013 in the Dominican Republic (Place TBD)
Boys and Girls ages 10-18 invited to participate.
Each two-day camp will provide campers with a fun and competitive environment that will help participants improve their skills, provide them drills they can use to continue developing their game, and give them the unique opportunity to get one on one instruction from NBA All-Star Al Horford. Al and the entire staff are excited about working with each camper to reach their personal goals. Camp registration begins at 8:30 AM and camp will begin promptly at 9:00 AM, and will end at 3:30 PM.
